Local Boat Dive – Southwest side of Kaua’i

This tour is great if you want a shorter day but still want to see lots of marine life. The southwest side of Kaua’i is abundant with marine life! On our website you can read through a description of all the dive sites and request sites that look interesting to you!

Marine Life You Might See

• Hawaiian Endemic Fish: Over 25% of the fish species found in Hawaiʻi are endemic (found nowhere else on Earth)!

• Sea Turtles & Reef Sharks

• Mantis Shrimp & Octopus

• Nudibranchs, Lobsters & Shrimp

• Moray eels, Coral & Sponges

Schedule & Parking

• Hours: We meet at 7:00 a.m. and return to the dock at noon.

• Location: You will need to provide transportation to Kikiaola Small Boat Harbor.

• Parking: Paid parking is available at the harbor (Kamaʻāina park free with valid HI state ID). Please allow a few extra minutes to handle parking payment upon arrival.

What to Bring

• Certification cards & logbook

• Hat & sunglasses

• Towel

• Reef safe sunscreen

• Jacket for surface interval (especially during winter months)

Gear & Fitting

All the gear rental is free with a booking! You give us your height, weight, and shoe size, and we give you different gear to try on at the harbor. This way we don’t have to meet at two different locations.

Booking Policies

• Capacity: 3 divers minimum to run • 6 passengers MAX!

• Cancellation: 72 hour cancellation policy

Included Amenities

• Free Gear Rental: Includes BCD, regulator, wetsuit, tanks, weight, fins, mask, snorkel, dive computer. Of course you can bring your own gear if that’s what you prefer to use.

• Enclosed Cabin: For shade from the sun and protection from wind spray!

• Bathroom (Head): Not to worry, yes, we have a small bathroom that you can use during the tour!

• Hydration: Stay hydrated with complementary water and juice.

• Snacks: Fresh fruit, cheese, hummus, and guacamole is always provided after dives, along with tortilla chips for dipping. Cookies and crackers are available too!

• Gear Rinse: If you bring your own gear we will set up a tub of water to rinse off the salt when we get back to the dock!

• Defog: Mask defog provided onboard.
